About Spire Genealogy
Spire Genealogy is my family history and house history research business based in Salisbury, Wiltshire.

I hold a degree and a masters degree in History as well as a postgraduate genealogy qualification and many years experience of family history research. I am a Member of AGRA [Association of Genealogists and Researchers in Archives] and I am on The National Archives' list of approved Independent Researchers.
​
Services range from the production of a fully-researched family history to a visit to a local archive on your behalf; the transcription and research of an old document or the history of your house.
​
Based in Salisbury in south Wiltshire I am centrally placed to access archives for Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset records as well as The National Archives and other London based institutions. I also work extensively online and provide services for clients throughout the UK, the US, Canada and Australia.

I have had a passion for history all my life and this continues in my work helping people to find out more about their own family history and the history of their homes. My work can really help people connect with their ancestors' lives.
​​I offer a free hour of research to determine the next steps and subsequent work is charged on an hourly basis. Whatever your query, large or small, I would be happy to discuss it with you. I look forward to hearing from you and finding out what we can discover.
